Recurring acne and acne marks are stubborn and annoying and it can easily discourage you to keep your skincare routine and all the extra efforts you put to keep your skin clean on. It is true that eating healthy and avoiding some particular foods can keep acne at bay but it doesn’t really show the results we want to see and that is why you need to have a skincare routine to properly take care of your skin. It is also important that you use all the essential products for skincare; missing even one product can vary the result. So I am here to show you what skincare routine you should follow if you have oily or acne-prone skin.
1. Cleansing
Dirt, dust, pollution clog your pores and eventually cause breakouts as o prevent this the first step in your skincare routine should be cleansing your face. Cleansers help to take out dirt from your pores and unclog them.
2. Exfoliate
Exfoliating is a good way to get rid of dead cells and clogged pores. Dirt and dead cells can sit deep into your pores which can be a little difficult for a cleaner to clean up and exfoliating can help you get rid of them. Exfoliating 3 times a week can help your skin be clean and clear but do not over-exfoliate as it can cause your skin to get irritated and lose essential oils.
3. Serums
There are different serums available in the market that can help you with many skin issues. Serums are not overnight workers which will clear up your skin miraculously but all the concentrated ingredients will eventually fight off acne and acne scars
4. Moisturizer
It is important to nourish and hydrate your skin after applying so many products. We all know how important moisturizing is but people with oily skin have a tendency to question the essentialness of moisturizing because they have oily skin but after cleaning your skin your face loses the essential oils which help your face stay nourished and hydrated and then as to do the job it produces extra oils which clog our pores and causes breakout
